Well this is a perfect time to talk with you all.
I've just said "Goodbye" to my wonderful friend Anna who lives in Harrogate and came over to Malton for the afternoon courtesy of Northern Rail and Transpennine Express.
Anna arrived out at the store around 1.45pm, picked out a great outfit that I wouldn't have thought of putting together and looked absolutely wonderful in it! Then we enjoyed a mooch around this small market town and enjoyed an early evening glass of white at The Talbot Hotel. It was a really good tonic for me and I hope Anna really enjoyed her time too.
I feel I've been extra blessed this week because last weekend my loyal customer, Pauline, came into the shop to have a look at my new Malton store and a few days ago, on their way to Scarborough, Karen and her very lovely son, Eddy came by to say "Hello" too. Thank you to all of you for continuing to support me and Bias, despite me moving.
Two or three things to say that are new on the scene ...
I've shared with you one of my new brands called SZ Blockprints; well I'm very conscious that they're one of the most expensive brands I've stocked and because I understand they're pricey to buy, I'm finally introducing my first Rental Dresses. From Friday 7 June there will be FIVE dresses from the SZ Blockprints range that will be available to hire - look out for the email on Friday with all the details and you can bagsy a beautiful hand printed block print dress to wear for a special occasion and they return it back to me.
On Saturday I popped a selection of items in the post for a loyal customer in Scotland. Fiona contacts me regularly via Instagram to ask me about various styles and I'm always happy to send them in the post for her to try on and then return the things that don't work out. It reminded me that I should share this with all of you as I'm always very happy to do an informal "try before you buy" scheme where you can see and feel the styles you might be interested in.
Bias is now open in Malton SEVEN days of the week (at least until early September) and I'm happy to announce that Patsy is working from 10am to 2pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; so together with Aurehlia who works on Sundays from 11am to 3pm that makes up the new Bias Team.
I'm on my way to Harrogate tomorrow; catching up with Airbnb bed linen (what joy!), doing my usual Dance Fitness Class with Sadie at Friends Meeting House on Wednesday morning, oh and Monkey has an appointment at the Vets that same day. And, of course also managing to find time to meet up with one or more of you.
I'm going to hope that the weather is slightly better than the last visit I made and that I can manage to get out to buy my favourite face wash and say hello to my favourite postie without getting drenched!
Hopefully I'll bump into some of you while I'm out and about in town and in the meantime,
take care, with love, Sally x
