Now back in North Yorkshire I've had a few, fairly frantic days; I was determined to make sure I'd leave the 'Bias' house in order before I went off on holiday and thank goodness, I've largely achieved that but it's meant late nights and early mornings to get there. And even more need for a holiday! I'm particularly thankful for Patsy, who has only recently joined the Bias Team and is making a great impact and Karen, my lovely colleague and friend from Harrogate who are holding the fort while I'm away.
There seems to be rather more suitcases and bags than are needed for ten days away but as we're holidaying in the UK we've had to cover all bases. So I have velvet trousers to vest tops and big waterproof boots to birkenstocks!
I've really taken my danish desires on board and have packed my bag with things that can layer easily so I can strip off and layer up throughout the day responding to the changeable weather patterns.I'm not sure what is says about me but apart from a few stripes and one top with a big floral design on it, everything else is plain and falls into the navy, white, black or beige camp. Mmmm I wouldn't look out of place on the streets of Copenhagen!
So the Fashion Event in early July is taking shape ...
Fashion for the Future
Monday 8 July - 7.00 to 8.30pm
will be held in The Library Bar, Market Street, Malton.
Tickets cost £10 and include drinks and snacks at the start of the evening as well as a charity donation.
Ask for tickets in store or buy online at www.biasstores.co.uk looking for an 'Invitation to Fashion for the Future'
Remember we an only seat 35 guests so tickets will go pretty swiftly.
Finally the car is packed, Monkey is running round in circles which suggests she knows something different is on the horizon and Paul, having just had a very short haircut, is looking for protective headwear. We're just about off!
take care, with love, Sally x
