Curating - the latest news from Sally - Lidos and Live Music

I hope you're all enjoying this Bank Holiday weekend; Bias has had a lovely time so far with some good sales and it was lovely to see Julia and Julia, long time supporters of Bias, in the Malton store on Saturday.

We've just said good bye to Olivia and Oli, Paul's middle daughter and husband who are the ones expecting twins in early December.
Together with Sophia, Paul's youngest daughter, we've had a lovely weekend including swimming at the Outdoor Pool in Helmsley early evening yesterday followed by delicious pizzas and a great female singer under a canvas canopy and surrounded by wild flowers at The Flower Belt just outside the town.

So the additional rail is now installed on the ground floor of the store and the Point of Sale has been moved around to create a more enjoyable wander around the store. There are some little hitches and a bit of snagging to be done but it's looking much, much better and means that we can show much more of our growing Autumn 2024 Collection.

I was delighted to receive our Mama b Autumn Collection on Wednesday afternoon - and I took great joy hanging out each piece and looking at the beautiful styles. It's always one of my favourite collections and this season is full of some lovely clothing.
Most of the collection is online and remember we only ever have four of any style, so if you're a Mama b aficionado and you're interested in any of the pieces then please let me know.

Last week we also received a lovely new top-up of Organic Basics with some extra sizes in some of the most popular styles together with a series of True Tees in new shades as well as some lovely navy sweatshirts.

I've had lots of communication with Coster Copenhagen recently and am delighted to share that we have two collections of theirs on the way. The first is a selection of their fabulous merino knits. Think short sleeve round neck cardigans, jumpers with polo style collars, long sleeve button cardigans in very neutral colours of beige, navy, black and brown. Chocolate brown is fast becoming my new go to Autumn colour

I realised that last week I didn't mention the official
Bias Autumn Launch event taking place on
Wednesday 11 September from 3pm to 7pm.
Everyone is welcome to pop in and see the latest styles on our rails, and join us for a glass of wine.

For those of you who would normally work on a Monday, enjoy your extra day of holiday and a shortened four day working week.
Bias is open tomorrow between 10am and 4pm and, of course,
we're always open online.

take lots of care, love Sally x
