Curating - the latest news from Sally - Sunny Sundays
So I'm writing this after a fairly hasty trip to Harrogate to check that my house was fine and sort out the waste and recycling ready for tomorrow's collection. Also a quick trip to Lakeland to purchase some new gas cylinders for the Sodastream where I bumped into my good friend Mary and we both commented on the domesticity of our lives!
It's been a week of gadding around and I sometimes have to remind myself that although I love fitting lots into a day, I'm not sure my sixty something body enjoys it as much. That said, the day trip to London on Tuesday was a joy, including breakfast with Tracey a good colleague and agent for Dansk Jewellery so we put together an order over eggs and coffees! To be honest I spent pretty much the whole day at Oldstrom Agency - my goodness they have some great brands - and so I chose four collections all of which are super stylish and will look so good. Watch out for Bitte Kai Rand, Dea Kudibel and Mei MeiJ which will all feature on the Bias rails in late Autumn and, in addition a totally new brand Called Vivere which we'll see for the first time in Spring 2025.
Summum Woman and Coster Copenhagen were the menu of the day on Wednesday and some of you might have caught a glimpse of me in a fabulous boxy jacket surrounded by some great styles in a bright yellow mimosa, definitely a shade to look out for in Spring 2025.
With Coster Copenhagen in mind, for those of you who love the long sleeve raglan tees in white and black together with the seamless camisoles in nude, white and black I've just done a top up order and they're all available on the website. They sell out so quickly so if you're wanting one or more - it's best to order it now.
On that note, I know the Bias website is proving to be a nuisance for some of you. Can I just ask you to 'bear with' and be patient with me.
I'm working behind the scenes and I'm managing to get things done but sometimes the technology is just beyond me; and the person who usually helps out when I have a problem is away on holiday.
For now, try and avoid using the sidebar menu (they're the little lines on the top left of the first page of the website) If you scroll down the main page or use the 'search button' you should find what you're looking for.
One collection you may well want to take a look at is the
'Last of the Summer Sale'
We have very few pieces still on sale but yesterday I priced them all down by 60% and the original price and the sale prices are now all showing. You don't need to use a code at checkout you can just see the sale pieces, see their prices and buy straight away.
So I'm going to sign off now; we're off to the wonderful independent Palace Cinema here in Malton to see 'It Ends With Us'
It has had mixed reviews and so we're taking our chances.
I'll let you know what my thoughts our when next we meet.
Nathan the decorator comes to Malton tomorrow to add some additional rails to the main floor, as well as fitting some cupboard doors and shelving so that we can offer our customers a slightly bigger and better shopping experience. As usual, it's all go. But it's a good go!
I hope you're all enjoying this beautiful sunny Sunday evening,
take lots of care, love Sally x
