Moving to Morocco

The arrival of a new delivery from Morocco on Thursday of this week of the wonderful Fleur D'Oranger oil seemed a fitting time to share our Goodbye to Maryam, a much missed member of the Bias Team.

Maryam has worked at Bias for several years now; originally in our Cold Bath Store and then moving to our small premises on Royal Parade and finally in our lovely location on Montpellier Parade.

Maryam has been an integral part of the Bias team and during the times I've taken a break she's stepped up, led the team and kept the whole Bias show on the road.

Earlier in 2023 she was making regular trips to Morocco meeting artisans and leather makers for her Moor Morocco label and after a longer break there in August of this year, she decided it was the country she wanted to live in permanently.

So in early November we sent her much love and luck, we said our goodbyes to her and wished her well as she began to settle into her new surroundings of Casablanca.
