THE STORY
Based in Barcelona, Barner was founded in early 2017 by two friends, Edu & Ray. After living their lives totally immersed in the digital world, they identified a problem that was not only affecting them, but millions of people all around the globe: overexposure to blue light. 

Edu and Ray's entrepreneurial spirit was inspired by their home city of Barcelona.

After hours and hours spent behind their computer screens, Edu & Ray realized there was something they could do about it, and so, Barner was born.

THE GOOD LIFE 
Barner is named after Barcelona, or “Barna”, to the locals. "Barners" is the brand's way of referring to all the people that, in one way or another, are connected to Barcelona and live the Barcelona lifestyle wherever they are.

A Barner is someone who is full of positivity, energy, and an appreciation of the beautiful world around them; someone who lives the good life. Are you ready to become a "Barner"?

THE PRODUCT
Blue light glasses are specifically designed to protect our eyes against overexposure to the artificial blue light that is emitted by our digital devices. 

In our busy digital lives, we all spend a lot of hours in front of our screens, and until very recently, we were doing this unprotected.

Now we have more information about the potential side effects, so it seems like a no-brainer to do everything we can to protect our vision.

Barner donate prescription reading glasses through restoringvision.org – the largest nonprofit provider of new reading glasses to people living in impoverished communities around the world.

With the accelerated population growth we need to be more conscious than ever with the earth. Barner are working hard to be as sustainable as possible with their products and they are a carbon-neutral company.
